Types of Work-at-Home Positions The Convergys Anywhere program within the company offers English-only call center as well as bilingual call center jobs in three areas tech support, sales and customer service. Positions are employment not independent contracting. Applicantsanswers to the questions duringthe application process, their qualifications, and their experience determine which type of position they may be offered. Glassdoor.com reports pay at around $9 to $10/hour for customer service reps and around $12 for technical support. Requirements Applicants need to have a high school diploma or GED, and one year of customer service experience. To be considered for a sales position, a year of sales experience is necessary. Agents provide their own computer (laptop is acceptable) that is hardwired to your netz service. Computers must be less than six years old. The monitor must a minimum of 17 inches (capable of 1024 x 768), and a flat panel display is highly recommended (televisions cannot be used as monitors). Laptops can have external monitors. An approved headset and flash drive are required. Knowing how to troubleshoot your own computer issues will be an asset on the job.
